Hello all!
I am so beyond thrilled to announce the launch of my website, www.CarolineSkye.com today!
This is beyond exciting for me. I knew that eventually my website would go live and the ball would begin rolling and believe me when I say, I was thrilled! But it wasn't until the moment my producer contacted me and told me it was officially up and running that I got the butterflies that told me "Caroline, it's really happening. Get ready..."
I feel as though my life is changing, and I am so happy I want to share it with all of you :)
Now, I am not saying that this is the beginning and suddenly everything is huge and tremendous right this second, because it is indeed just the beginning of such a dream for me and this site is the foundation of this campaign that is Caroline Skye. This website not only has information about me, but it shares my music with you all, my music video for my song, "Hot Mess", my blog, my twitter feed ( @CarolineSkye ) , my photos, and updates on everything that is Caroline Skye music, but this is a central hub that invites all of you listeners into my heart and soul. Which, I gladly invite you into my world.
Music is my life, and if you read my earlier post, maybe you understand that I breathe music and cannot imagine a dream any more brilliant than this one of becoming a singer/songwriter and sharing it with you. My music is and will be all of my emotions, my worries, my dreams, my experiences, my happiness, and everything that drives inspiration to write a song. My songs are intended to be fun and uplifting but always true to how I feel about certain situations whether good or bad. Now, I only have a few songs to start the ball rolling, but with the Team I have behind me, I know there is some more wonderful music to be created very soon that will continue to follow these guidelines of story telling. I cannot wait to keep pushing forward and writing more music.
Like I said, I'm not saying all my dreams have come true just yet, because if I did well...that would be untrue. But this is the beginning of my dream....its not even the beginning its the biggest step so far getting me closer and closer to my dream and the goals I have. I am thrilled beyond words to have such wonderful producers, and a Team that is driving me and encouraging me with all their clever ways to reach my goal. I believe that the skies the limit and its because of that that I believe I have gotten this far. This is the beginning of everything that is to come, and I feel the change already as I sit here writing to you.
So, please if you can, continue to check out my blog and my site for the updates that are coming! Like the debut of my album on itunes in March when you can purchase some of my music and enjoy them with your friends and family. Please spread the word, friends, and check out my facebook page too! I really believe that music can save the world, and I am no superhero by any means, but the impact music can have on someone can change their life, it can bring them hope and courage, music alone speaks a language that brings hundreds of people together for one common purpose. To me, that is the most incredible thing in the world and because I love it so much, all I dream of is to reach all of you in the same ways my hero's have changed my life.
Because this is so important to me and because I believe so much in what we are doing, I have decided to name my album "Skye's the Limit" to really mirror how greatly I believe in this music and how I hope we can all come together through this as well.
With your support, I believe anything is possible here. And I hope you all believe in yourselves and your dreams too. So get out there, and start working, start believing, because with your beginning will come these butterflies I am experiencing now, and I gotta tell ya, it's wonderful.
